Il dirige la Cellule Patrimoine historique de la Ville de Bruxelles\, chargée de la gestion et de la valorisation du patrimoine architectural; il est administrateur du site archéologique du Coudenberg dont il assure également la direction scientifique et siège à la Commission royale des Monuments et Sites de la Région de Bruxelles-Capitale. \n\n\n\nPar ailleurs\, il enseigne l’histoire de l’architecture à l’Université libre de Bruxelles à l’ENSAV La Cambre et à L’Ecole supérieure des Arts de Mons. Il a de nombreuses publications à son actif\, principalement dans le domaine de l’histoire de l’architecture et de la conservation du patrimoine.

DESCRIPTION:Born in Brussels\, Vincent Heymans has a degree in art history and archaeology and a Phd.He directs the Historical Heritage Unit of the City of Brussels\, in charge of the management and enhancement of architectural heritage; he is administrator and scientific  director of the archaeological site of Coudenberg\, and is a member of the Royal Commission of Monuments and Sites of the Brussels-Capital Region. \n\n\n\nIn addition\, he teaches history of architecture at the ULB \, ENSAV La Cambre and Ecole supérieure des Arts of Mons. He has many publications to his credit\, mainly in the field of the history of architecture and heritage conservation.
