PLANNING PERMIT 04/PFD/1856721v
The decision has been taken on the following grounds:
… Whereas the multimodal road specialisation (SMV) set out in the Good Move plan and included within the scope of the project is as follows:
Pedestrian
- Pedestrian-friendly route from the Cinquantenaire Park (Petite Rue de la Loi) towards Rue Froissart via Place Schuman;
- ‘enhanced’ pedestrian access along Rue de la Loi;
- ‘comfort’ pedestrian access along Rue Archimède and Chaussée d’Auderghem;
Progress report: early March 2026
As work progresses, we note the following:
Schumann’s Great Wall
For pedestrians, the route between the northern part of our neighbourhood (Rue Archimède) and the centre of the square and the southern areas (Auderghem, etc.) is blocked by a long, continuous planter. The pedestrian crossing shown on the construction plan has been ‘overlooked’!
