Like quality of life, the environment is a central theme for the GAQ. Residents often chose to settle in the neighbourhood for its setting, with its courtyard gardens, numerous small green spaces, local shops, and schools. Their defense is an ongoing battle, encompassing ‘new’ threats such as air pollution and noise.
