Activities in the neighbourhood for the festive season

Dear members and friends,

Winter is gradually settling in, with its festivities that bring a little human warmth, conviviality and hope.

Here are the various festive events in the neighbourhood:

Shops at Carrefour Jean Monet with Gift Festival Week from 25 November. Full details here.

– l’Estampille is organising a Christmas market on 9 and 10 December.

Schuman Square will be offering a superbly beautiful illumination in the Petite rue de la Loi: a walkway of multicoloured lights. A roof / corridor and trees of all colours between the roundabout and the Cinquantenaire entrance.

– The City of Brussels will once again be setting up its Winterpop caravan.

As in previous years, the GAQ will be on hand with its legendary “barbes-à-papa”, waffles, cakes, hot drinks and more. We’ll be on hand to meet neighbours and passers-by on Friday 8/12 and Saturday 9/12, from 3pm to 9pm, and on Sunday 10/12, from 2pm to 7pm. We’d like to get to know you, tell you about the GAQ’s activities and share a moment of human warmth.

In a previous message, we asked for your help: if you have a bit of time to be present on our stand, or if you like to bake cakes or cookies, we’d love to hear from you. Please let us know as soon as possible at fetes@gaq.be.
